English Shorthand Chapter-17 mai, Upward H, Downward H, Tick H and Dot H  ke baare mai explain kiya geya hai. 








1. Upward H

Upward H kaise aur kahan use karna hai woh aap example neeche dekhe.

H ਦਾ ਉੱਪਰਲਾ ਰੂਪ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਹੋਰ ਸਟਰੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਖੇਪ ਰੂਪਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ

2. Downward form of 'H'

Downward 'H' tab use hota jab yeh single alone ho...

H ਦਾ ਹੇਠਲਾ ਰੂਪ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ




3. When H is followed by   K or G written like Hawk   Hog 


ਜਦੋਂ H ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ K ਜਾਂ G ਨੂੰ ਹਾਕ (Hawk)ਹੋਗ (Hog)ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ

4. When H Follows upward L or a Horizontal Stroke as 

ਜਦੋਂ H ਉੱਪਰ ਵੱਲ L ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰੀਜ਼ਟਲ ਸਟ੍ਰੋਕ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

5. Following S 

In a few words like Soho and Sheehy the circle of H is written inside the curve and in such words as  Fitzhugh and Racehorse  , where S and H occur medially, the circle is enlarged for the representation of S.


Soho  ਅਤੇ Sheehy  ਵਰਗੇ ਕੁਝ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ S ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ H ਦਾ ਚੱਕਰ ਵਕਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ Fitzhugh  ਅਤੇ Racehorse  ਵਰਗੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿੱਥੇ S ਅਤੇ H ਮੱਧਮ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, S ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧਤਾ ਲਈ ਚੱਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

6.  When H follows another stroke it must be written so that it cannot be misread for S ch or SR thus....

ਜਦੋਂ H ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਟ੍ਰੋਕ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ S   CH ਜਾਂ SR ਲਈ ਗਲਤ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।

7. Tick  'H'

When preceding strokes M , T and R. Initial H is represented by a short tick, written in the direction of downward H thus

 ਸਟ੍ਰੋਕ M, T ਅਤੇ R ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ H ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟੇ ਟਿੱਕ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਵੱਲ H ਦੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ

8. H Tick in Middle

The tick H may be employed medially in phrasing but not in words thus

ਟਿਕ H ਨੂੰ ਵਾਕਾਂਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੱਧਮ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ

9. Dot H

Where a stroke form of H is not convenient in the middle of a word, H is represented by placing a light dot before the vowel which is to be aspirated thus

ਜਿੱਥੇ H ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਟ੍ਰੋਕ ਰੂਪ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੇ ਮੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਜਨਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, H ਨੂੰ ਸਵਰ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਇੱਕ ਹਲਕਾ ਬਿੰਦੀ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ
