1. Straight Strokes followed by NS

S , SES, ST and STR N hook ke saath jor kar leekha jata hai. 

S ਜਾਂ SES, ST ਜਾਂ STR ਦੀ ਧੁਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੁੱਕ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਸਾਈਡ 'ਤੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਜਾਂ ਲੂਪ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਸਟ੍ਰੋਕ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੁੱਕ N ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ

Z ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੁੱਕ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਚੱਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਕਰਵ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੁੱਕ N ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਿਛਲੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਵਕਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੁੱਕ N ਅਤੇ ਛੋਟਾ ਚੱਕਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ NZ ਦੀ ਭਾਰੀ ਧੁਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ Fens (NZ), Vans (NZ), Zones (NZ), Shines (NZ), Moans (NZ), Loans (NZ)

NS ke saath SES, SD, ING bhi lag sakte hai.
