1. Steno - Typist 

Salary - 10300+3200 (Grade Pay)


Steno typist lagne ke liye hame Punjab Govt mai punjabi shorthand ka  test 80 wpm ki speed se pass karna hota hai aur yeh test  Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) leta hai.  Isme only 8% mistake permissible hoti hai.


Steno Typist ki salary details apko niche show ki gayi hai.

• Basic Salary- 10300 
• Grade Pay- 3200 
• Dearness Allowance ( DA) - 148%
• House Rent Allowance (HRA)- 10%- According to Punjab Cities & Chandigarh
• Mobile Allowance - 500 Rs
• Medical Allowance - 500Rs
• Interim Relief= 700 Rs ( According to Grade Pay)
• CCA Allowance = 100 Rs
• Conveyance Allowance - 400 Rs

Total = 10300 + 3200 =13500 X 148% DA = 19980 
                                           ↓
                                                    (10% HRA) 13500 X 10% = 1350

13500+19980+1350+ 500 (Mobile) +500 (Medical) + 700 Rs (IM) + 100 Rs (CCA) + 400 Rs ( CC Allowance)

Total Gross Salary = 37,030 Rs.

Total Salary mai se apka 12% EPF deduct hoga

2. Junior Scale Stenographer

Salary - 10300+3600 (Grade Pay)


Steno Typist Lagne ke baad hum Govt. Deptt. paper pass karke hum Junior Scale Stenographer ban sakte hai ya phir Direct Recruitment rule according lag sakte hai.

Iske liye hume Punjab Govt ka Punjab and English Shorthand test pass karna hota hai. Punjab Shorthand 100 wpm and English Shorthand 50 wpm.  Isme only 8% mistake permissible hoti hai.


Junior Scale Stenographer ki salary details apko niche show ki gayi hai.

• Basic Salary- 10300 
• Grade Pay- 3600 
• Dearness Allowance ( DA) - 148%
• House Rent Allowance (HRA)- 10%- According to Punjab Cities & Chandigarh
• Mobile Allowance - 500 Rs
• Medical Allowance - 500Rs
• Interim Relief= 700 Rs ( According to Grade Pay)
• CCA Allowance = 100 Rs
• Conveyance Allowance - 400 Rs

Total = 10300 + 3600 =13900 X 148% DA = 20572
                                           ↓
                                                    (10% HRA) 13900 X 10% = 1390

3. Senior Scale Stenographer

Salary - 10300+4400 (Grade Pay)


Junior Scale Stenographer Lagne ke baad hum Govt. Deptt. paper pass karke hum Senior Scale Stenographer ban sakte hai ya phir Direct Recruitment rule according lag sakte hai.

4. Reporter

Salary - 15600 +5400 (Grade Pay)


Punjab Deptt mai sabse Senior post Punjab Reporter ki hai. Punjabi shorthand reporter banne ke liye apko Punjab Vidhan Sabha mai Punjabi Shorthand ka 130 wpm ki speed se test pass karna hoga. Isme only 4 % mistake permissible hoti hai.



Punjabi Reporter ki salary details apko niche show ki gayi hai.

• Basic Salary- 15600 
• Grade Pay- 5400
• Special Allowance - 1500 Rs
• Dearness Allowance ( DA) - 148%
• House Rent Allowance (HRA)- 10%- According to Punjab Cities & Chandigarh

• Medical Allowance - 500Rs
• Interim Relief= 700 Rs ( According to Grade Pay)

Total = 15600 + 5400 =21000 X 148% DA = 31080

Maine details mai apko Punjabi Govt. kitni salary deta hai Stenographer ko apko dedi hai. Apko ek method bata diya hai ki salary aise calculate ki jaati hai. 

Salary mai kuch allowance increase bhi ho sakte hai jaise ki House Rent allowance 20% bhi ho sakta hai. Maine 10% hi use kiya hai.
