The students were forced to go on strike. Do you want the student community to take interest in the appointments and to get them reserved?
It is the policy of the government? If not will the government see to it that it works according to the rules and regulations. I am sure all will agree with me²⁴⁰ on this subject. Then Sir, as far as the examinations are concerned examinations are not held in time. Why the reason is very simple to find. It is because the causes are simple and it is because the students complain that nobody teaches them has anybody gone into the question of the level of the studies or how much students are being taught and so on?
Or it is only the question of examination and giving them marks that is more important³²⁰ than the actual teaching? This is no sign of our progress. This is waste of time and money of the country for nothing.
As far as the Delhi University affairs are concerned the situation remains the same in spite of a new government has come there now but have demands been made to see that students maintain discipline in the classes in the examinations and at least ensure that the teachers take care of the studies properly will the⁴⁰⁰
